Classic Uyuni Salt Flats: Starts in La Paz and ends in La Paz Description Pricing Itinerary Sub Trips Quote and Book Description Pricing Itinerary Depart La Paz and cross a large portion of the highlands towards Uyuni. Continue to Colchani to witness local salt production. Cross the Isla Incahuasi, Coquesa and the foothills of the Tunupa volcano, then arrive at the village of Tahua. The following day travel through the Quillacas highlands and crater of Tambo Tambillo and end your travels back in La Paz. You may choose from extensions to Sucre and Potosi, to the Colorful Lagoons Day 1 Departures on Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun only - Trip from La Paz in bus to Oruro (3 hours), then train to Uyuni (6-7 hours), crossing a big portion of the highlands.
